It wouldn't be that hard if you were really trying to do it. You just shoot one miner until you've done over half of the damage on it then you switch to another. While everyone else on the team is finishing the kill on the first miner you are damaging the second miner. If you do the most damage to the 2nd miner you'll get credit for both kills in quick succession.

Lt_Duong_ wrote:QUOTE (Lt_Duong_ @ Mar 19 2008, 12:02 AM) That's odd... sometimes I see actual players and miners in the polar opposite sector on the map in my F3 view, without actually having any intel on said sectors.

Should I just attribute it to a lag problem?
I am about 75% sure, through personal experience, that it happens when you are on a ship with turrets, and more than one person has F3 open... It will show the ships in your sector, and the ships in the other sector on the F3 menu.

Im not sure if its only the gunners, or the pilot, or what happens. I havent tested it.

PsycHosis wrote:QUOTE (PsycHosis @ Mar 9 2008, 08:16 PM) how about an XT stack, posting a mutiny one after another and getting booted one by one. then siting in lobby and laughing while waiting for the comm to boot the rest.

nothing quite like watching someone throw away their pretty much only chance at winning
Haha I remember that one. The comm didn't even pay attention to who was mutinying, he just started booting all the XT. I think I was booted when just a regular guy tried to mutiny, lol.

Mr. Kltplzyxm wrote:QUOTE (Mr. Kltplzyxm @ Mar 17 2008, 01:28 PM) That game was annoying. We had a poor game in the beginning and thankfully Crono got everybody together. Nothing like Starfire to ruin your day tho. And I mean when he's on your team.
Starfire joined my team once. The enemy had built an OP that was about 2000m from a TP we had in that sector. The enemy also had heavy ints, and we just had basic bombers. I let him launch about 10 bombers, ripcording into a 3 int camp, back to back, until finally I decided that was enough cash for LOLs and booted him.

I nearly tried to attack an enemy ref with hunters. I got to 1200m when I realised I had hunters mounted rather than my ab's. Fortunately I managed to switch them and blow the ref before I got killed. (It was an important ref btw before anyone tries to mock me for blowing refineries)

Could've been really embarrassing...

One day I tried commanding. Seeing as I sucked at it (BTW Thank you community for letting me at least TRY at it... second time I did a WHOLE lot better) I ended up turtling in one sector early-ish game with nothing but seeker 3, small shield 3 phoenix fighters. They camped my Garrison with corvettes and carriers for fun.

THAT had to be my favorite command expeirence though because EVEN THOUGH I was losing, it was hilarious.

The proud experience out of that was that I managed to put together my first bomb run :-) This totally makes me want to try again now that I don't stink as much at it.

try putting together bombruns when your not com. It can be really nice to have someone who is willing to organize and yell something like that for you.
