It would make no sense at all, apart from the fact that people hate him less than they hate the political class that now infests the West - which manages to in general be useless, self-enriching, self-perpetuating, probably criminal and a group which was more than happy to give Trump (and worse than Trump) whatever they wanted as long as he gave them things in return.Adept wrote:QUOTE (Adept @ May 30 2016, 02:56 PM) Calling Trump a businessman is quite generous. Grifter or confidence trickster would seem more appropriate. How many bankruptcies is that now, four? How about that "Trump University" scam?
Honestly I'm astonished people are willing to even consider voting for the orange wonder. I'd have thought backing away form showing his tax returns would have been enough to show people what kind of a person they are dealing with.
Why can't he show his returns? Because he's nowhere near as rich as he claims to be, doesn't donate to the charities he claims to donate to and no doubt uses every trick on the books to get out of paying any taxes what so ever.
The next ten years will be, as the Chinese have it, "interesting times". I just hope we in the West end up going for the Corbyns / Sanders of this world, as opposed to the shysters like Trump and Farage; but as long as Blair, Bush, Straw and their ilk are in prison it will probably be enough.
