Still got 6 hours of download left, but I'm loving some of the early hud mockups.

No need for a pass downloading. For uploading, PM/email me what you'd like for username/password and I'll set it up.

I'm overcome with the notion that early versions of Allegiance were closer to a Freelancer or proper MMORPG than the game we have now.

Yeah, there are a number of documents commenting features or what gameplay should consist of, some of which are quite different than what we have now.

Thank you so much for this again. I downloaded it tonight and it contains so many small gems... (Like the horn sound with the imperial march, the movie "d2 ns.avi" with the star wars droid sounds, Faction logos, skins, etc. Amazing.

That "d2 ns.avi" nearly makes me cry (disk31/movies/). I hadn't turned the volume on, so I didn't know about the droid sounds, but that Rix Garr in the middle of the frame is gorgeous! But I don't think the model/scene files for it are in any of the other disks. Even as much stuff as we have, it is staggering to think that there is even more out there somewhere.
Once we get this batch pretty well picked over, I think I'll try to get a hold of some of the other artists and see if they have the rest.

Feel free to add and clarify guys. Especially good would be detailed disk content listings once we're sure of what's there. Maybe a separate page for each disk with a detailed listing?

"Disk07 - Cutscene materials: fake newspaper clippings "
For anyone able to read and understand a bit of german, I recommend having a look at disk 7. It is very entertaining to read, because they obviously did not ask anyone capable of speaking german.
