So apparently Trump just fired the guy who did more than anyone else to help him get elected; supposedly for doing those very things that helped him get elected.

And they say the guy is big on loyalty. Can't really blame him though, I mean all of this is just totally new information that he probably didn't know up until now.

Worse: Comey learned he was fired *because it showed up on cable news* while he was talking to FBI agents in LA. There was discussion of whether or not he could take a government plane back to DC or had to fly commercial... which caused massive delays at LAX.

How anyone defends this trainwreck of a whitehouse is beyond me.

Perhaps people will start to realize that to get elected politicians will lie to convince people to vote for them.Nothing forces them to keep their promises once they are in office.

Liberals avow acceptance of all yet you are not accepting of all.
In actual fact you are only accepting of things that align with your personal and political beliefs.
Because of this you come across as a hypocrite.

Not like this is new in the history of politics.

No, that is not correct. Here's a better strawman — so long as you harm no one, you're very welcome to be what you want; for example, you can be a rapist, just so long as you don't rape anyone. ;)

Seriously. If you feel the urge to have non consensual sex with others, please by all means seek medical attention or help from your local support group before you give in to your urges. :)

Yes, I keep in alignment with my personal belief that people should not be persecuted based off ingesting substances of their choosing.

I DO NOT accept people forcing their morals on others. I think you need to learn the definition of hypocrisy.

Here, so you can better understand it with your lifestyle:

(obviously not the real situation, but a good analogy with a hypothetical situation)

Internet troll 1:
So did you hear? Trudeau is making Canada dry! He is going after recreational alcohol users, and will take away their health care. Ha ha ha, Paps I don't make your choices but you might not want to go to the pub any more.

So now- pretend this is the actual situation Paps. if you speak out against this type of belief, are you just not accepting the Internet troll? Because that is essentially what you are saying to me... I truly can't believe that you think speaking out against that type of belief is being "un-accepting" and "hypocritical"

At this point, I still don't see Trump ever getting impeached. Who knows if there is anything to this Russian investigation or not, but frankly, he could shoot someone on fifth avenue and the Republicans in Congress wouldn't have the backbone to hold him accountable.

Every day, I wake up expecting to see Trump simply up and quit. Who knew presidenting was so hard? Every five minutes must feel like a fresh new kick in the nuts to him. I am sure he'd rather be out golfing and tweeting his opinions from the sidelines without having to worry about the consequences of them put into action. It really wouldn't shock me if one day he staged a press conference, announcing that even the self-proclaimed King of Deals is incapable of getting anything done in the current political climate, blamed everyone else for being so gosh-darned mean to him, and quit the presidency on live national TV.

And his followers would love him for it, but at least he'd go back to being an inconsequential celebrity like he's always been.
