By all means let me expose my social political views to you in a clearer way then.
I am a left wing person currently enrolled in the Democratic Party of Italy.
I support a mixed economy system, a beneficiary and supporter of universal health care (where taxes fund the NHS).
In regards to religion policies I support state secularism akin to France's laicitè and Turkey's Kemalism,(where only science is constantly funded by the government).
I am of course in favor of freedom of worship and beliefs, if they do not negatively attack another's beliefs or lack thereof.
I am personally an atheist but I was once a deeply faithful Roman catholic.
I am a strong supporter of the EU and I wish to see a much needed federal transformation of Europe.
I do not feel overly patriotic because birth is not a matter of personal choice but of chance IMHO.(Here we could engage in a deeply philosophical debate but I digress).
