There is currently at least 1 Allegiance 2 in development and KGJV was working on something a few years back. No idea how either one is progressing.
So far the current developer of Allegiance 2 has not asked for the community's input and most likely doesn't want it due to this community's history.
What I believe will happen is out of the blue a thread will be posted with some details about Allegiance 2 being ready for Alpha or Beta testing.
A download link will be provided with a request for heavy duty bug testing.
Until that time we wait.

On the bright side, it seems BT is making good progress on Allegiance and hopefully we will see it posted on Steam in the not too distant future.
If we are lucky there will be a good addition of new players and returning vets and Allegiance will be given a second chance.
If we are really lucky Allegiance 2 will show up and with a larger player base (after Steam release) we have more bug testers available.

I don't think a 3rd party investor would do anything at the moment with Allegiance and it's small community.
Should there be a large/huge player influx and a 3rd party investor sees a potential to make money, there may be more than just an Allegiance 2 in our future.

While you guys *#$@ around thinking you are all serious, if AK doesn't join up soon we will probably lose the 1000 Koreans, who, if they played would increase our current leader board from 63 to 1063.
This is a 15,973% increase.
AK if you don't log in, you are responsible for the single biggest loss of allegiance players ever. Including the future.

TA perhaps you should post your personal wish list for Allegiance 2 and see what others think.
Could be a good starting point to actually get the ball rolling or get flamed.

Not a bad idea, I will write on and post it tonight. In the meantime paps and I encourage others to post theirs

After a lot of reflection, I believe we have all come to a consensus. The direction of Allegiance 2 is on solid footing thanks to some tough discussions like we've had in this thread. I want to thank everyone who contributed to it, and we should all feel good about where this thread has left us.

I officially close this thread.
