They should rename it Star Goose. It just keeps on laying eggs.

in 200 years it might be cheaper to actually build the ships and space stations than to invest in this game :D

Also I am starting to worry you need a supercomputer with a graphics video card array hooked to a 100/100 fiber internet to play the finished product.

I did not preorder it, I financed it (with 120$). I really wanted to see the game, but I am afraid that it got too popular and way too big. I wasted more money on so many other useless stuff, so it really doesn't matter that much.

Yeah what is actually done is pretty impressive graphically (for now) but at the rate development is going by the time it is finished it will be old news. They need to shrink the scope of @#(! they're trying to accomplish and just release something smaller and functional for the time being otherwise it's never going to happen at all.

Before they finish it, they'll switch to two or more new game engines... :hide:

Undoubtedly.

So typical of it projects though.

If they scoped properly up front they probably would have realised in needed something bespoke.
Instrad their baby is outgrowing the pond it was birthed to live in.

But i guess the Skinners Box of visuals for dollars had to at least spit something out after every so many millions of funding.
And they complain that EA’ BF 2 lootbox model is bad. Lol. The Roberts Crowdbox makes EA look like petty theives.
