Just a spontaneous Idea:
Reduce Payday to 0.5, Reduce Miner Cost to 2k, Higher miner building time to 4-5 minutes

I think that would fit into the BIOS concept of slow but cheap and good ....

Are you completely incapable of reading or do you just not notice that the entire last page of this thread has been about your miner cost reduction idea (of making them cheaper and reducing paydays)?

Here's an idea: Stop repeating yourself and join the actual discussion. How about backing up your idea with some reasons as to why it would be good, besides "it fits the theme!!!!!one".

Otherwise, spam* this thread again and I'll be quite happy to ignore you via the delete button.

*Yes I consider it spam when you post the same thing a day & page later without reading anything in between.

cashboxes are really random and unpredictable, and shouldn't be too much of a factor in this Bios discussion. Frankly, if you don't want cashboxes, turn down treasures and Bios will have a harder time gathering them.

On high treasures, i once got around 7.5k in the first 5 minutes of a game due to lucky spawns being clustered together.


edit: forgot my point....my suggestion is something already previously stated at one time or another, and that's simply nerfing the Bios miners themselves, be it with lower capacity, higher sig, or something that makes them easier targets to kill.

Haven't we already established that a problem with Bios is that they don't need miners?

I heard there was a discussion of changes to Bios via some message that randomly popped up.

My suggestion:

Make Teleport probes have a 1 in 6 chance of exploding.

The problem we have isn't that Bios' miners are easy targets to kill (they already die enough as it is, hence all the "bios wins without miners" complaints) but rather that the income they generate isn't necessary to keep the Bios team alive or end the game.

Basically +1 juckto. Make Bios need its miners, then decide if their miners are too difficult to kill.

@Xeretov: Its not only the cost, its the building time. I want that being noticed.
no other faction has 4-5 minutes miner Buildtime. Would be unique and maybe interesting.
