Heavy Booster
I'm sorry Jarvis but you are being almost as creative as MW. There is an option to vote for "nerf", and it didn't come out on top. MW wants to combine two out of three, you want to read it slightly differently, but do the same. You are still falling into the same trap as he is.

<bp|> or an obsessive compulsive paladin of law like Adept

But it's not a trap.
The people who voted to leave it alone, would (at the risk of putting words in their mouth) almost definitely not advocate total removal and would most likely prefer a nerf.
It makes sense to interpret the results. If people disbelieve, rerun the poll with two options, as I suggested - I doubt removal will come out on top if the same people vote.
Edit:
This whole discussion is why voting systems like PR make sense/Come about. TBH any poll with more than two options leaves itself open to interpretation like this.

The results are interpreted by the CC team in all polls that do not have a super majority.notjarvis wrote:QUOTE (notjarvis @ Dec 3 2009, 10:03 AM) It makes sense to interpret the results. In this case it was decided that the MAJORITY(66% or whatever) of people saw at the very least that Heavy Booster needed a change/removal and removal was the choice that was on top hence its removal. Yes it is a bit of a "trap" to have more than two polling options - but it does give us a good sense of community sentiment
If this breaks the inherent balance of Sup we do updates often enough it is a small matter to put it back in and tweak it.
Yes MW this is Community Core, not someone who thinks he's smart, comes to the forum and and on the last page of a 6 page topic chimes in with some "think im smart" one liner Core.
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.
Well personally I agree with Adept because with a little searching MW could have easily found other posts on this topic which has come up before. Not to mention his snide comment about "community core".notjarvis wrote:QUOTE (notjarvis @ Dec 3 2009, 10:23 AM) Fair enough spidey. That sorta fits with my edit of MWs comment.
I was just trying to point out that Adept was taking an overly simplistic view of the results in his put-down of MW.
Thanks for clarifying,
MW was just being his usual self

ASGS poll won't change anything, people which wrote there haven't took part in this discussion. (Have no clue what they are voting.) The quality of these kind of polls is just bad, and it's one reason why direct democracy doesn't work (prime example: Denver voters will be asked to create commission to probe UFOs).FazzBumm wrote:QUOTE (FazzBumm @ Dec 3 2009, 06:48 PM) we could just make a poll via the asgs system? Let people decide of nerf or removal?
Would this be much workload?
