And leaderboard at 192.

We are in bigger trouble than I thought...I didn't consider the effect on newbies not finding anyone online for the whole week.

Want bigger games? Log on to play at the official game time: 9pmET/8pmCT/7pmMT/6pmPT every day of the week. Also Saturdays 8pm UTC.

It's the critical mass issue, without enough players online the majority of the time to allow for even a small 5v5 game, new people uninstall, and current people typically don't login. I know there's a lot of talk about the size of games being small but what they seem to forget is that a few years ago you could pretty much login at almost any time and be certain of at least a small 5v5 game.

With things the way they are, new players will in the vast majority of cases simply not get into the community.

My radical insane idea is simple, turn off the servers Monday-Thursday except for a peek period perhaps, with a notice in the lobby saying when servers are are available. The will do two things, firstly it will concentrate players more and thus boost game size, and secondly it will not discourage people that have installed the game as much, they'll know when the next game period will be.

Frankly allegiance is currently in heart failure on the operating table.

We need to do a complete mass email now to all accounts active or not in our database.

Remove the logged-in player list on the homepage. Who does it serve besides those already in the community? And, if anything, it turns off those people from logging in.

Make them log in to see who else is on.

Seems to be a little buggy anyway, it was showing like 14 or so, then I log in to find 5.
