Ah, thanks. I've never seen him in game, that's amazing.

If you don't give me a reason but share your opinion that the idea sucks then you are just being mean, especially after I quote and ask you.
I fail to see how that process is 'denying'. There is nothing to deny, other than "NO!".
I'm not going to stop making posts.
It annoys me that people use different names for their playername and forum name. I don't even know whom Icky is.
Crono gave you a reason and you ignored it because you don't "like" walls of text. TOO $#@!ING BAD. I don't see why anybody's making the effort to treat you like a person when you're clearly not in the mood to read anything that disagrees with you. Play a $#@!ing real squadgame, @#(!face. Usually this is where I'd make a crack about Ryj or Fedman, but honestly it's far more likely that you simply don't have the goddamn sophistication to recognize a decent game when you see one.

Alien- all posts that have been aimed at answering the question has given reasons.
You might think that just because someone says something it's an opinion, not a reason...
but...
A shared opinion = a valid reason.
==================
If you would like me to put together a list of the shared opinions/ valid reasons people have come up with, I'd be happy to.
==================
E.g.
Squad games are easier to control and there is more communication between players (than PUGs or big big games)
-->leading on from that point, people prefer to play with squadmates.
-->leading on from THAT point:
Playing a game of Allegiance is like hiring a stripper or drinking beer. If you don't do it with friends, you've got issues.

if alien wasnt one of those people who believed in the literal word of the bible, i would be completely convinced that he is the greatest troll ever, easily surpassing fed. However I am on the fence because of the aforementioned reasons. Basically the only solution is to ignore him or delete his posts since it is the only solution to both possibilities

Troll
How many character traits do I and trolls have in common?
How many character traits do those disagreeing with me and trolls have in common?
Solution to what?

See the problem Alien is you take everything WAY to literally. You quoted a definition that implies more meaning than words can express. A troll is anyone who aggravates others on the internet. You seem to agravate lots of people, hell you were one of the reasons I quit BS.
Oh and by solution he means getting you to shut the hell up, because to every post you basically go "but you didn't give me a reason why!" or "Obviously you are just flaming my idea without giving me any reasons why."
Both of which make people want to jump through their computers and murder you. Me included.

Well how do you think I feel? I make a lighthearted thread asking the community what they think; instead of calmly sharing their disapproval and stating why, they simply insult me over and over.
(Every time I've said, "they didn't say why" I was referring to why they didn't like the threads proposal.)
A troll is not someone who aggravates others, a troll is one who aggravates others for fun. And the only aggravation I've caused has been in my defenses. A troll is offensive in nature.
I understand why they're mad (mostly anyhow), but they don't have any justification. Yet you're mad at me?
How am I a reason as to why you quit BS?
What have I taken literally which wasn't meant to be?

They didn't like the threads proposal due the
reasons (squad game can be more fun as you play with squadmates, hard to control members in a large game, etc) they gave, that have already been debated over and over again, and which people tell you in their posts, and yet you still ask:
Why all the hate? (fyi, people give you a reason why people like to play squad games instead of big huge games, you accept that reason, and move on.)
ALIEN. If
YOU want to play a 100-player game, by all means, CREATE ONE YOURSELF and get your friends together to play one.
Through this thread, you have tried to ask the allegiance community if they want to play one. They have said no, citing their own opinions and reasons why, so you should just stop trying to persuade them, which only makes people angrier.
It's like a little girl asking you to play tea-party with her...every hour...again and again and again, and when you say "no, you don't want to play tea-party with her", she asks "why", and you give your reasons that you want to do something else, and you don't like the thought of tea parties, and she keeps asking "why not? I like them...surely YOU must like them too!"
