Right now moving to Canada seems like the best option but somewhere in Scandinavia would be amazing too.

Where are the best places to live?
Are you thinking of relocating?
Canada is great except for our winters.
Guaranteed you would like coastal British Columbia, everyone I know who has been there loves it.
Higher taxes and most things are more expensive here than in the US.
Overall an above average way of life with much lower crimes rates than the US.
I would recommend Canada as a good option to living in the US and you only have to move next door.
You can drive back and forth pretty much whenever you want.
My brother drives up from the US a few times a year.

Well tbh, since you're white and educated you probably won't notice much difference in your quality of life.

That being said, I'm excited at the prospect of studying somewhere in Europe for grad school in a few years. My top choices are England or Scotland... mostly because I don't know if I can become fluent in another language.

Pretty sure he has a degree that doesn't correlated to any real jobs. But he's white and can speak English like a native white person and that's the most important thing.

The cultural difference in Europe is much greater than inside the USA. I live like an hour driving from Germany and Belgian, and I have to get used to the different culture when on vacation.

That rules out at least half of scotland then. Unless you watch Rab C Nesbit with the subtitles off you're not equipped to survive in weegieland.

Vancouver Island is the only place in Canada that grows palm trees. I live in Victoria where i am hiding from Canadian winters like we have in my home town Edmonton. Your main choice here is umbrella or raincoat. Right now it seems like help wanted signs are everywhere. I have no complaints. The health care system here has kept me alive more times now than i can remember. The number of women on the island still out number the men by quite a bit.
