I think I can't be chocking on my words suggesting the 9ers are going to win anymore than you'd choke on your words suggesting the Bills win. I have no respect for people who don't have faith in their home team.

Sometimes there is having faith, and sometimes it's a pipedream. Not saying this is necessarily the case here in either situation, but IMO it's more respectable if somebody is a realist than a fanboi.

Ie. I've become a Bucs fan, living right outside Tampa Bay. After the hot mess they showed last week, would I have thought they would be playing the Saints like they are currently? Nope. But does that make me a horrible fan? I don't think so.

It's still ridiculous to mock someone for picking their home team to win, unless there's a rivalry going on. Cash, Brood? Feel free to mock... oh wait 0-2.

Also: there appear to be only two real teams this season: the Patriots and the Packers. Everyone else I'm "meh" on.

No, don't try to put words in my mouth. Paps gave you what you deserved, and you couldn't take it after you gave it. Somehow I'm not shocked.

You're probably correct about it appearing to be a 2 horse race at the moment, but it's still very early.

Ask the Cowgirls how quickly injuries can change an outlook.

you can mock me for picking my team (or not giving as I can take w/e, I was being facetious) but "rightful deservings" is not a phrase in the english language and the phrase you were looking for is "just deserts" which is really the phrase you dream you were clever enough to make.

THE phrase I was looking for? Not quite, it may have been A phrase I was looking for, but I could have gone simply with "what you deserved", "what you were asking for" or even "a justified reaction". I will admit it was poor word choice on my part, but it clearly got the point across, so thumbs up to the grammar police.

As for "mocking you for picking your team". Again, nobody did anything of the sort until you chirped first. A simple

can go a long way.

For the record, your selection of the 49ers wasn't OMGFANBOI, IMO. I imagine most football fans expected a much closer game.

The 9ers looked way worse than the Bills did and I've had a terrible week so far in my football pool.
