I use WinXP on all my nonLinux machines.

I find it interesting to see where M$ is steering with this OS.

Some people I hear have installed W10, one of them stumbled onto a large amounts of tabs with privacy settings. It seems some options have a vague description. A lot of privacy options are ON by default "for smooth transition". He said he was amazed how much information M$ may collect for "future improvements analysis" of W10. There also seems to be an issue with your internet connection being used for other persons.

I hear gossip about a Windows monthly subscription fee after the first free year. Maybe Software As A Service apps, like - say - Google Docs uses. "Free" versions loaded with advertisements or paid ones which you have to buy, like the Android apps.

Mandatory updates? Hrm. I can imagine persons who want to decide for themselves which patch gets installed when they want it. It seems you have less and less control over your Windows with each upgrade.

Not sure how the corporations will react.

I can't see MS deliberately antagonising corporate customers, they're the main consumers after all. Doing it accidentally, entirely plausible
