Looks like Babel is...

djrbk, the reason Masta had to "gather" this is because he actually doesn't know. He was out of base at the time, because, even with 16 players on his team, his talents are far too great to be wasted just sitting at home for the first five minutes. It looks like whatever he was doing, he managed to get himself podded, so there's that.

He just sort of assumed that ints would prevail in any opening furball against their figs that he sent the con in without checking whether we were actually successful in breaking their camp (turns out, we weren't). So when we finally did manage to pod Babel and a few others, maybe 1k away from the aleph, the next thing I do is turn to get ready to break the camp, and that's when I saw the con sail majestically through the aleph all by its lonesome ... pretty much the whole team was like "NOOOOOOOOO" in slow motion but by then it was too late.

So yeah, in retrospect I feel bad for bogarting @ACS for so long to prevent Masta from teaching the secrets of confident commanding to up-and-coming players.

I'm going to assume that 15 light ints prevail against 15 starting 15 figs, every time, and if I end up wrong, I'd rather take that loss than play under the assumption that my team is comprised of useless infants.
I'm not going to play in a manner that facilitates players becoming WORSE at the game than they already are. You've already done enough to contribute to that cause.

There's the Masta we know and luv! Ok, guys, let's tone this down and not make a big deal out of it as it reminds me too much of the good old days when we had hot games and hot tempers. ;)

And I'm going to assume that 15 figs are not going to just let themselves disassembled in open space by 15 light ints. I'm going to assume they're going to pull back, build short, camp, prox alephs, get pickups, get people back to the front lines faster than we can. Which is exactly what they did.

I still want to know where you were during that mess. I don't recall seeing you coming with us, maybe you were and I just didn't see you. I'd love to know how you got that 0-0-1 record. For someone who likes to point fingers and blame their team for playing like "infants", I think you need to explain that one first.

You've never played in a competitive game, ever.
I play based on high level competitive squad game experience.
There's no point in even trying to explain things to you that you can't understand.
Especially considering how badly you failed at doing absolutely anything with ACS over the course of YEARS.
I get more than you ever have in a matter of hours.

Yeah, OK, whatever. You do fine when you're flying for a good comm and with strong teammates. But you have literally no idea how to play this game when things are not ridiculously stacked in your favor. That game shows it, and your reaction to that game shows it. All you ever do is blame your team. You'll never know what it's like to be a real leader, because a real leader owns up to their mistakes.

I will always play like I have a great team, and my team can rise to meet that expectation.
I will not play to a lower standard. I'd rather lose.

Real leaders make people the best versions of themselves, not the worst.

Your opportunities to lead, teach, and inspire, have been miserable failures.
Tell me more about leadership, Mr. employee.
