the large games are composed of 60 people overall, of wich 30 are from sysx and ni, there are other 30 people composing the other squads.
the problem is not that tho. mainly the problem is that if its just sysx vs ni, why would anyone else join after that wich is considered the event, in other words why would some of the serious players of other squads join if there is no game for their squad and some leave after the event as it generally happens.
that leaves the lobby with only sysx vs ni for the afterevent and maybe 4 or 5 more people.
i think it just keeps other people away.
why are the other squad games still in existence anyway then if they cant play being so few? isnt it better to disband all the other squads and pretend we just rename sysx and ni as yellow vs blue wich i rememeber games where fun as hell?
if u wanted to make a large fun game yellow vs blue is the best option, there is no "league" as an excuse to play 1 squad game while the others are left aside as i previously stated.
however a pickpool would be very appropiated, everyone should get to join and sysx and ni would have a reason to add more people and make it 2 bigass squads as the overlords of allegiance, yellow and blue.
but hell flame me all you wish

i just want to play the event like everyone else... the event is supposed to mix everyone in one single game.. but this just kills the purpose.

You make a good point with people not wanting to join inactive squads. The easy solution is to break down BS/MEC/PK and form a new squad with some cherry pickings, defections, and unsquadded player grabs, so then squad games can happen on an almost weekly basis with one squad sitting out and having a greater variety of opponents mixed in with the occasional special event//AW style league play like is happening now.
Your "Yellow vs Blue" is a bad idea as a replacement for squad games. Squad games have always been the life-blood of Allegiance and they demand a higher level of play that doesn't typically involve people launching in GT basic figs to try and save a clutch miner when you already have hvy ints and nan3 scouts. Certain things are expected of you in a squadgame that are different than a pick-up game, so playstyle is usually a little different.
However having a standard pickpool game with squads sticking together and picking the remaining people AFTER a squad game with some of the pilots who can stick around is totally a worthwhile/usually pretty fun thing.

+1
I maintain that it stands to reason that since you had to be able to play 3 squad games to become a squad, you should have to be able to play squad games in order to keep your squad - and 3 total squads that can each play squad games is much better than 5 total squads with only 2 able to play squad games.

It's not so much MEC/PK/BS disbanding as it is having a group of players wanting to form up a squad. For all intents and purposes MEC, PK and BS are already dead so if any people have the urge to create a new squad to try and take down the underdog that is NI (because let's be honest your not going to beat SysX) then they should do so, the only issue of MEC/PK/BS is if member in their squad wants to leave and they won't let them and then PKK can sort that out.

i dont know why when and how the rules for creating and keeping squads was created. it was a neat idea but when the game was BIG i think.. when we have tons of players to keep up 5/6 squads..
maybe in current events and amounts of people a new set of rules should be discussed...a new WAY of forming or keeping the squads. there are only 2 squads today, 30 people play, 30 people dont. commander carnage is good, yellow vs blue was great, planet wars is not good it feels like squad game (but mostly since commanders are kinda uneven between planets, not much to care about planet wars.)
by the way the idea of voting for new coms and organizing a mass pickpool to evenly form new squads just ran through my head, but i do know some will not join a squad because they know another commander is better..
possible solution would be the commanders own willingness to trade players with those of other squads.
