Just sat down with this tonight. Seems pretty cool, not too much too it so far, a lot of ships for sale though. Seems like a good way to kill an hour.

Ran into a wild V3g3ta, recognizing the ravings about interceptors from 'another game' as the rantings of a fellow allegenite, I deactivated lurkmode and attempted to make contact. Requests were made for other alleg vets who are involved in this 'Star Conflict.'

Yeah, the only thing it seems race has to do with it is starting ships and slipping into contracts, which seem to define who you automatch with. Haven't tried any 'games with friends,' seems like scenario might be the way to go there for some fast cash.

Scenario isn't fast cash. If you complete it you get 1 Guaranteed special item loot (well you can choose not to get it by not examining the purple loot dot and only going for the white ones).

edit: Ok, scenario is actually paying pretty well now. It really helps if you have a friendly hull (+ shield for bonus) repair frigate with you. To ensure this I decide to be that guy. It's been quite profitable. One time I even found two pieces of special loot in one match.
Oddly enough one piece of special loot hasn't been as good as the mk3 version I had access to.

Anyone know what the Russian text says when the boss starts shooting its super weapon?

Well playing normal games gets you way more Rep but if you need quick cash it woks the best

Right, sorry for the slow reply. From what I can determine, you level up to lvl 4 with your faction, then you fly with whoever, I believe it is then according to a contract (in-game, like kill 20 ships of this faction).

I had no problem flying with Hellsyng, I think he had to fly a lower tier ship, but it was certainly not the same faction as mine.
