"EDT, EST PKK, UCT, FTW, FTL", so many time zones I get sooooo confused. I dont even care anymore about what time is happening what, I just log in and hopes Im early for the show. If not, w/e I find something else to do.
It is at this time:
"06:00:00 p.m. Wednesday October 3, 2012 in America/Denver converts to
12:00:00 Midnight Wednesday October 3, 2012 in GMT"

Daylight Saving Time is in effect on this date/time in America/Denver
Daylight Saving Time is not in effect on this date/time in GMT

instead of doing all of this, why not keep it simple?

the game is at 1am gmt 0. DST only matters to ppl on it (so they know that for them, the game is 1h earlier than what it usually is).
You dont need to infer that X or Y is at DST. They already know it. Pick a regular time and use it, don't apply DST to it, let the countries on it apply. This is what most games do.

Its all the usage of so much acronyms that boogles.

This is just an example. We could even use UTC or Zulu.

Its easier to associate when you have just one timezone rather than like 3-4.

D'oh.

Any able bodied commander willing to take his place for this time slot? Post in here or PM me.

Also I'll find out if Ryu can do this at the same time on Thursday as well.

EDIT: Masta has agreed to take Terran's place. Banner updated to reflect this.

Because it isn't simple:

I blame Columbus, for making the world round and giving us timezones.

Simple stuff you can trust.
And yes simple mathematical adding/subtracting without understaning how the earth rolls with timezones and political winter/summer times might get you wrong answers.

PS:
I could play/(command if anyone cares) at mostly any day:
13:00 to 17:00 (UTC-3)
same as
16:00 to 20:00 (UTC+0)
same as
19:00 to 23:00 (UTC+3)
