Can someone explain faction pairoffs?

core cc14 strong starting factions..

IC,Rix = lt ints

TechnoFlux = dual gat scout (5min to get lt boost/ or faster if u find it)
*You can find and kill miners real fast with dual gat + scanrange.
(at times i have successfully killed lt ints also)
*SC drones .. you can completely block off a sector playng vs Ints
(as they wont buy carrier, and they have no missiles to fool drones)

NOT:
Dreg = also lt int.
*But in cc14 you will get in trouble because their hitbox is too easy to hit.
Meaning you could even lose vs figs which is freeky.

Generally about interceptors...
Beginning from best (in my opinion) and ending with worst.

Hardest to hit and with good turn speed and acceleration: Omicron Hive
Best range and damage (turn is really slow up/down): Rix
Better damage than OH, but worse hitbox, and less range: Iron Coalition

Narrow hitbox, and no spread on bullets (good for sniping, but harder to hit far moving targets): Technoflux
It looks bulky as belter int., but the hitbox is fairly good actually: Ga Tarran
Fairly bad gunmounts and bad hitbox, (i have seen Belts lose with EXP too much): Belters
Those turn quite slow and feel slow (lyx variant can ripcord): GigaCorp
Best speed, good gunmounts, really really bad hitbox: Dreg

PS: Only IC, Rix, Dreg start with light interceptors.
TF,and Gigcorp start only with scouts. Belters, GT and Omicron start with figs.

For a beginner it surely is a lot to remember :P
But with time it sinks in.
