This is what happens when you don't beta test. At least people are testing it now rather than after release :) .
Unless there's been a recent change I'm not aware of, the new mouse control settings have been in the beta for ages, though, and I believe fair numbers of people have tested them on a number of occasions, though perhaps not recently...

I have this weird problem with the mouse like it's slightly delayed, maybe a fraction of a second, I move my mouse then the pointer moves. Sensitivity settings don't help, but I deleted the registry entry for MouseAcceleration and it helped a little.

It takes some getting used to just to move around the menus, dogfighting accurately is nearly impossible.

This may be why I haven't noticed the difference.

THIS. exactly this.

i was in beta at the same time as phailanxe and i tried his settings, it was a little better but i was still getting the annoying delay Turkey mentioned. wasn't quite sure how to put it into words but there we have it.

another way to look at it is (like i said in the first post) everything feels like the veritcal axis of rix. i'm getting the "wobble" effect if you know what i mean.

Hmmm... didn't realize in game mouse sensitivity controls were on the change list. Barring the other issues people have mentioned, I might actually try to get back in a game a little for this. My current cheap-o mouse didn't come with software, and was hyper-sensitive in R5 (editing windows 7 mouse settings didn't help). Being able to turn it down in game would be fantastic.

So I played with this and it seems fine if you turn Accel off and turn sensitivity below 100%. It's still a bit different.

The sloppy feel on the pointer makes for a poor user experience navigating the menus in the game. Is there anyway to make this configurable to turn it off for those that don't want to use this feature? Or to only activate it when mouse flight is active?

Why would you force v-sync on? That's guaranteed to $#@! up everyone. Massive input/cursor lag weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
