i really dont understand why regular sg commanders arent squad officers to begin with. if you chaps follow them in the field then surely you can follow them elsewhere
(except for those blokes in sf of course. poor bastards)

All I see in this thread is Virulence spewing propaganda in favor of his broken core, and using MEC's loss as justification of his beliefs.

A few of of us were running late, apologies.
MEC had set up game server on CC.
We made it clear we did not want to play on CC, as we played this the week earlier & it was boring.
We made an XC server. Some MEC joined & said as a compromise, lets play on DN.
We moved to the DN server.
Sara claimed to have setts & that SY was to be off. a lot of us demonstrated about this. That it was a squad game not a PUG & that SY should be on. Especially on DN.
Sara would not change, so Night choose brawl as the map, to try & get Sara to change his mind. Stupid setts = stupid map.
The stupid game was launched.
When this was over, & we should have played a proper game. A lot of MEC left, so no real game took place.

This sort of bs will be the death of allegiance. There is no excuse for bringing PUG bs into a squad game. If MEC were so adament about certain setts, some communication beforehand surely was neccesary. In which case we could have politely told them, no thanks, and got a real game.

Ah so that's why you resigned, not becuase you were scared of death by grav but because you were bored with the core

This stuff should be dealt with in the OC rather than having a spamtasic thread in gameplay. Just ask the MEC leadership to make sure settings etc. are agreed beforehand.

There are many things that are causing the death of allegiance and this is pretty far down on the list. Hell, starting the "core wars" is the premise to this problem and you know who to thank for that.
