I think you have gone blind to hope for a better allegiance in any way but your own; if you even believe there can be a better allegiance.

You are getting in the way of things changing by stomping on those who might try and change it.

Now let the braying of the troll resume.

Now now, there is room in port Hyro for the both of you.

You don't even have to use the same dock.

If you want to make a non-compatible core it might be wise to host it locally. You can code your own special version and tweak as your hearts desire (e.g. with ICE). Also the ping is very low.

I am not sure if a special core can run stable on a production server, like Stripe. If the server collapses with a BSOD, someone at the datacenter has to push the power button to turn it on. And players want to turn Peet into an omelet :D

If your core is stable, I can store a copy on Stripe and your players can keep a local copy on your pc's (just point to Stripe ip). If the core is really l33t, maybe it can be a new hit for all of us.

Don't worry about our "charming" players, there are enough other "good eggs" here.

The production / retail R5 lobby (http://autoupdate.alleg.net/allegiance.cfg) does in fact require your AllSrv's external IP to be whitelisted. You would need to contact Tigereye, he is the only person who can allow your allsrv to connect to his alllobby.

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye
