Apparently Dr. Ashok Agarwal did a study in 2006 with 364 men that found sperm counts decreased from 86 million per milliliter to 66 million/mL for men who didn’t use a cell phone to men who used cell phones more than four hours a day.
He intends to do more studies.
Someone volunteer Star_Failor, Fragz, MW, Alien51, k10xbai, Jimmy, Elzam, Imago, and Y_P to be in the test group!
I'd add masta to that list but doing lines of hotsauce probably kills sperm too.

There's a fairly significant correlation between EM fields and bad things happening, like brain tumours and whatnot. There is (or at least was, last I heard) a huge amount of research being done to try to figure out how one causes the other, if at all. That there exists this correlation with no apparent cause drives some members of the scientific community kind of nuts.
Mobile phones were banned at my high school in the late '90s - early '00s. I really don't see this action as a big deal.
Wouldn't need to be lead, just conductive. Tinfoil hats might be sufficient, depending on the foil (although you might need to ground it as well, not sure).HSharp wrote:QUOTE (HSharp @ May 18 2011, 12:14 AM) Hardly just for EE's, especially when it's talking about stopping WLAN's and Cordless phones, dunno why they aren't saying shut down radio transmitters and terrestrial TV or have schools use 2 inch lead lined walls.
