my biggest concern with it actually was reliability issues down the road. I test drove a ford escape which was about the same price with similar options, but the jeep just felt way better driving. And it's a jeep, which I've always wanted.
Hmm maybe I will consult a few mechanics and if they agree with your opinion, I can exchange it for the escape. I have 30 days in which to do so.
fingerbang, that is a $#@!ing awesome truck
new ride

In other news, chrysler offers a lifetime warranties on stuff.. maybe I should buy one? Or are those a ripoff? I can get a powertrain warranty for like $1600 and a bumper to bumper for like $3k. Hard to beat a lifetime warranty. (They do say that if the cost of the repair exceeds the cost of the vehicle the warranty will only pay the cost of the vehicle and the warranty ends).

On the Jeep - we rented a Cherokee once in Colorado. Ride was a bit rough for me for a daily commuter and the interior was . . well . .a Jeep interior. A bit sparse. Looking at the picks here, this one looks a bit better than what we had, kudos. How is the ride?
My only experience with a Chrysler was a Sebring coupe back in 1999. brand new. had it at home for about 3 days and then it wouldn't start. Dealer came and picked it up, kept it for a few weeks, told me it was problem X and was now corrected. I picked it up, a day or two later, same deal. They get it again, and again, and again. I'm only like, 24, so I don't know about lemon laws at the time . .. I had it a total of just under a year and they had it in the shop for over 9 months of that. In the end, I traded it on a '97 Ford Explorer, which I LOVE and still drive today (yes, it's 14 years old and paid off for nearly 8 years now).
As I've mentioned before, I'm soon to be in the market again myself. Going small and sporty again likely (fall of this year). I was seriously considering a new Infiniti G37 coupe (S), but can't bring myself to shell out that kind of money. I might get one 3 years old if the price and options are right. If not, I'll likely be getting a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8T (either GT or Track). The 2012's are possibly going to have an 8 speed gear box, which should improve gas mileage (which wasn't bad to start with).

G35 sai?
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

Prefer some warranty on a car of that nature. G35's will all be out of warranty (even ceritified) very soon (coupe only through 07, G37 coupe started in 08), so either an 08/09 G37, preferably certified. At least I get a year or so of warranty in case anything goes awry.spideycw wrote:QUOTE (spideycw @ Apr 19 2011, 10:40 AM) G35 sai?
