I wouldn't say that ME2 was "garbage." It's maybe a little over-hyped but I thought it was a big improvement over the 1st one. I think it's biggest flaw (as I think we've discussed!) was that there is really no compelling story. It's "COLLECT YOUR TEAM!" whereas in other Bioware games, collecting your team is merely a side-effect of following the epic story.
DA2 was def a letdown. I was a HUGE fan of the 1st one and the expansion, and I've sort of lost most interest in the sequel after about 25 hours (I put 110 into the 1st one + expansion).

Briefly. I started my Bioware obsession when Knights of the Old Republic came out. They have BG2 on GOG.com and I've been considering picking it up. I have a hard time playing older games that I don't have nostalgia for... it's tough to look past dated game mechanics/graphics when there aren't fond memories compelling you past them =P

Integrating steam and the psn has put the psn down for maintenance for like 3 days. When it's done it will be cool, but wtf did they start doing it on the long weekend for? $#@!ing retards!
