While I think Nan2 is too game-changing to float (it's not going to float on XC anymore), making it requiring a starbase makes it too inaccessible.
That would make starbase a requirement for any effective use of bombers or htts against tier2 tech.

If it doesn't float... and you can only research it in Starbase...

How would making it require a starbase change anything?

Excuse me. Requiring a starbase to be *researched*, not to be used.

It already does in both XCore and CC.

So... not changing the way Nan2 works would make Nan2 too inaccessible? Or are you saying that XCore is going to remove floating Nan2 and move Nan2 research to Garrison?

If you steal mg3 and you're exp, why should you NOT be able to use it? I find examples overwhelming in stupidity have the greatest impact.
Oh, is that the point you were making? I thought you were telling Adept that you knew more about how cores worked than he did, which I can assure you is total bull@#(!. Of course since your point was so obfuscated it really just serves my point: you're dumb. STFU.
Adept wrote:QUOTE (Adept @ Mar 2 2011, 03:17 PM) You'd be able to use it, just not mass produce it. Individual pilots could steal mini 3's in the above example.

We need to check how well it works anyway before it's time to discuss the implications for gameplay and see if people want to give it a try.
Don't change this ffs. There's no good reason to change the way it currently works.
