Fun game MEC, great to see more decent sized SGs on the horizon. DON'T LOOK AT MY PROBE/NAN STATS!

He spends 20 minutes pinging Hunter 1s at stuff whilst I kill anything threatening.
That's hilarious. I remember figuring out the same "awesome" bomber flying school back in 2k when new to the game. PuGs must have been even more disorganised back then, since I remember successfully clearing my way to several bases, flying a bomber like a gunship and "sneaking around" backsectors with hunters loaded and shields up.

Good times :D

To be fair,

1) We had a lot of fun,
2) For most of that time, they only had 1 sector which was well defended & we rarely had many (if any nans),
3) We still served as a distraction, and
4) The one time we did go in, we didn't blow up a base, as we took until around 50 minutes to get any advanced tech

Yelling "tally-ho, wot wot!" over Mumble was fun, since our bomber was entirely composed of old skool British RT's (Rav, Wyld & me).

Mostly this ^

Vortrog's response was particularly priceless when his scout dissolved out from under him.

I gotta say MEC is a force to be reckoned with. We got so lucky when we successfully bombed that first Exp (Vogue almost saved it by eating an AB! :ninja: ). That probably won us the game since it would have been a rather harsh situation to continue the fight against mini2 Rix Ints in Giga Enh Figs. :death:

Yeah WTF happend there? I was minerhunting and saw 8 ints in the exp sector = no sweat. So we kill miner and pod ourselves but our ride got podded too so PU takes 20 secs or so. Then boom goes the exp.

Grav: "Now is the perfect time to kill the exp btw"

That indeed was the turning point. It was starting to look bad at that point.
