Wiki Running slow?

The forum is slow in general, mostly when adding new posts.

Thinking about it. This weekend may be a bit poor as the various hacks and corrupt people politicains from across the world descend on TE's neighbourhood and spam the lines.

same here... forums seem slow as does the wiki

I don't know why, but it seems to be especially bad for me in the morning (Toronto time). I can't load the wiki at all, and the forums are slow as death. In evenings, both wiki and forums seem to run a bit better. Perhaps a sign that I'm not using my mornings as productively as I should be... :lol:

So a problem was found where too much resources were being eaten up by a process. It was killing IO.
I imagine this was what was causing our forum's database (MySQL) to run into delays whenever it needed to read/write to its tables, causing the delays we experienced on the forum and the wiki.

The problem has now been cleared. Hopefully the forum will resume its previous level of responsiveness.

Let me know if you notice an improvement,

Still running as slow for me but might be my current connection.
