Just some advice from a gamming veteran that has seen games come and go

I remember you from those games, and i noticed that you were a bit annoying. You made a lot impolite comments about your teammates and the enemies.

You also spammed for bbrs which annoyed our commander a lot and almost resulted in a boot for you.

Usually most people don't care how much you suck because you are a newbie and we know that. But if you are annoying and impolite towards us don't expect us to be friendly and helpful.

Be so nice and come back, read this at least once and try again. Allegiance is without doubt the most newb-friendly community i've ever seen.

1. You have already posted a new thread in that forum today.

There are not enough players for newbie games and w/o vets teaching newbies there is little point in newbie games anyway. So a GAME which is supposed to be FUN isn't fun when every time you PLAY you are told you are a RETARD, SHUT THE F*CK UP, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU... etc. etc. As a gamer I know loosing sucks, however, there needs to be some way that new players can learn from vets w/o being a burden and destroying their scores, and furthermore, people need to learn the line between frustration and relentlessly beating a guy down and going on, and on, and on when it was a simple mistake (and we killed the bbr anyway).

In a large game the mistakes of a new player can be dissipated among the masses, however, with a small playing population this can't happen. As this game is SO dependent on individual's actions that an entire team of vets can fail from a single mistake and have their overall ranking affected (actually, downgraded?) is a recipe for EPIK PHAIL. Also, with this ranking system that pits wins vs. losses, it is essentially the case that for a new player to rank up, a veteran has to be demoted as there are a fixed number of rank points in the community, unless there is some other way to get experience points or w/e you may call it, I believe this would have to be the case.

So there you have it, those are my parting criticisms as I don't like to simply leave in a bloody rage, I like to be politically correct about it (but you’re all douchebags and that is really the only reason I quit, because it isn't fun anymore to be raged at for half an hour). So, adios and hope (with the exception of the two aforementioned players) lot of you burn in hell.

wow, my bad. However, yes I have applied for ASF and never got a response. And no I have never posted a negative response or anything along the lines of a rant before. and I did not mention names, nor will I untill i get really pissed off. A least I got some attenton, I'll shut up but somebody respond to my caddet 2 pls. Cumulatavely between my old and my new acoounts I've played almost 4 months of the game, and I play almost every day, and btw, nuke is my favorite comander. But wth is incharge of afs and why can I not find out ho the current person is? I have commed and piloted scouts to bbrs to cap ships.

You complain about the lack of newbie support, yet I can find no trace of your having applied to our flight school or cadet program. Learning from those could well have let you avoid making many of the mistakes you claim to have made, and indicated to others that you were willing and in the process of learning.

Like I said I did most certainly apply, I am not too good to learn from vets, I have been a vet, a beta and an update tester, a form moderator, a guild manager, and also a guild leader (there is a difference depending on the game) in several games. However in the afs postng said it is not currently active and is still being rewritten even though I applied anyway, but likeI said I recieved no response.

No that wasn't me lex, that guy was a total newb, I was in that game though, I don't rember who that was but it was a zero. No I knew were going for gals that game. And yes, lex (although I haven't played much) you aren't a douche, athough I hadn't really interacted with you at all. I was not impolite as a matter of fact I tried to help the poor newb. Well ok I did tell him to STFU by the end when he started to spam "Need Bombers" but w/e.

And yes, to an extent I do belive that the rank system is unfair in that veteran players can be so HUGELY impacted by new players and I say that needs to change, but the gameplay in general is great in alleg.

So in conclusion, like you all knew I would, I newb raged: (as opposed to vet raged) and I come back. HOWEVER, I cannot be called a *compete* douchebag as I did not name names XD. But alas I am the fool newb(/voob, but three months apparently in this game isn't all that long I am realizing), so laugh and point, but do be nice to new players.

I'll give you a tip right now, if you read the chat in game actively and listen to what the commander or whoever is taking control of the situation is telling you then your going to save yourself from a lot of yelling.

Trying to be useful but failing is acceptable, but not even making an attempt is just plain stupid both for you and the rest of the team.
