We have a crew of Portuguese speakers here (and I can't remember who does). We might have to tell them in-game to visit this thread. Internet translation isn't going to work for tech support.
I'll try:
Trex,
Temos um grande jogo que acontece hoje. Vou tentar encontrar um jogador que pode falar Português. Eu vou perguntar. Esperemos que alguém pode traduzir para nós, ajuda e-Lo.
(We have a large game happening today. I will try to find a player who can speak Portuguese. I will ask. Hopefully someone can translate for us, and help you.)

Trex,
We would very much like to help you, unfortunately we haven't yet found a Portuguese translator to work out the issues. We will find one (I know there are several Portuguese speakers playing this game.) Please be patient and we will work out your problem.

I can speak Portuguese, I'll give you guys a hand, his first post says:
QUOTE "I'm not being able to run allegiance, every time I try to run it the next message shows up: The application cannot load: D3Dx9_41.DLL, get in contact with the app developer, I tried to download the DLL and put it in the alleg folder. When I did this the message didn't show up anymore but when I tried to run the game it turned all black."
Actually it's not written that well in Portuguese either so... lol, but that's what I got from the first post.
Second post:
QUOTE Forgive me for writing my thread in Portuguese, Let's get to the subject, I downloaded the DLL(?) and I found out that the game opens now, but just for 2 seconds then closes, I opened the console and it showed up this:

• Logged In
• Launching Allegiance
• Active
• Allegiance exited with code: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
• Creating Crashfile
• Beginning Logout
• Closing processes
• Sending Logout Request
• Logged Out
PS. Oh yea, by the way trex is not really a new player I remember watching him play many times... my guess is his game just broke now and can't play again =/

Thanks Buyo!
Ok... the first step, if we understand you correctly, has to do with DX9. You have to install that properly and that is where I think we need to focus on first. The D3Dx9_41.DLL doesn't belong in the Allegiance folder. It will be placed in your Windows\System32 folder when you use the installer found
here. NOTE: If your Windows is a Portuguese version, I think (but don't know for sure) that you need to download the Portuguese version of that download.
Try installing that, reboot your machine, and tell us how it goes. (Also delete D3Dx9_41.DLL from your Allegiance folder.)

caso queiras adiciona o meu msn
paulogti@sapo.pt ou escreve para esse e-mail. Um abraço

Umm, installing the DLL by itself won't solve the problem. Please ask him to go to Microsoft's download center and get the August 2009 DirectX 9.0c redist in his language and install it. That will solve his problem.
