Multiple object hitboxes are perfectly possible. Take a look at the BSG stuff - every one is as WYSIWYG as possible. Same goes for my Faction X stuff.

wait people didnt know that dreg ints are flying rectangles? then they shouldnt be considered even voobs

I although thought the large hit box for figs represented their shields.

Want to show me where the average player is supposed to find that our and at what stage Brood?

Anyway, I'll start working on this as my time permits. Maybe I'll even find some people to help me with it.

*shrug* I just never missed that badly.

Compared to creating the new artwork files for better hitboxes, rescaling the ships to restore balance would be relatively trivial. I'm still hoping GT base cvhs get fixed at some point...

When there is a shield up there is an additional oval hitbox generated by the code that represents the shield, it shrinks as the shield decreases, pay attention next time you shoot a shielded craft.

FFS WTF?!

You mean a ship with a full shield is an even bigger target and it's not mentioned anywhere?
The hitboxes are a bug sort of... the shield is a feature, it's really ridiculous that it's not mentioned in cadet or something.


BTW what do you mean by oval and how big is it?

GT bases cvh are being, and have been worked upon. And things look bright on that side so be happy turkey! :)

do you really want dreg ints to be harder to hit?

you will find the more complex you make the hitbox to match the model, the less fun this game becomes due to not scoring hits
