Banned for Defending miners
I'm a bit confused here. He booted the commander while the commander was in-game doing things? I thought those type of bans were to be handed out after the game is over unless it was some emergency?

Striker, I think you will find Spidey's argument is that the only way to solve the problem (people not being able to join) was to boot the commander.
However, from these logs we cannot tell if Spidey checked the facts or if he acted on bias against DD based on his perception of his personality. (i.e. was DD really waiting to get the teams "his way", or was he busy doing other things and not as good at multi-tasking as Spidey? Maybe Spidey's logs can clear it up)

obviously since brood has the power to deem people the veteran status of a video game, he can decide whether DD would accept 'vet' players whilst defending miners. ffs dude, shut it for once.

Unfortunately we only have half the story. I'd like to see the in-game logs from DD's team during this situation.
All I know is that I was told to never boot a commander while in-game unless it was for gross negligence or he was breaking some major rules. Otherwise hold the ban until after the game.
I can see why Spidey did it, but it's a very grey area that can go either way.

The irony with this miscommunication and 'grey' area is that I would be more inclined to believe we would lose more players from the forum shenanigans that occur after the said event, as opposed to the actual event.
But alas, I have no proof.
I predict 8 follow up posts before this moves to rants

Thumbs up for booting people under questionable circumstances.
If the log had showed caps lock or right shift usage by the banner before the ban, this incident would have been worthy of framing. Next time before you ban, type:
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LUCK
As there was no loud statements in the logs, this issue is a yawner. I log in now to mutiny who ever is commanding in the honor of faulty logic and bad decision making from this incident.
