Frankly Clay mid-june is only a few weeks away and imo that is not enough time to adequately test everything we have just put out. I would much rather start working on other issues people have brought up while people test the hell out of CC_05
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

Would it not be wiser to make smaller changes in a release? I understand that the community is so badly impatient, but balancing the result of many variables could be tedious if not impossible. Its not like we have a major break in the core, and something is uh-so-imbalanced.

mid-June, late-June, early July meh, you get the idea. :)

We both know that tiny and seemingly unrelated changes have a way of combining to unbalance gameplay or signifcantly change how a faction is played, and we have tons of examples to illustrate it. CC_05 looks like a pretty hefty update, and we may be well-served to let that shake down before piling even more changes on CC_06.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting you -- the above seems like the preliminary list of changes for CC_06.

You can please none of the people all of the time.

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.

I can see where you're confused. This isn't a changelog, its a list of all the topics the community has brought up that haven't been looked at by the CC team yet.

From that list we're either going to decide "No, this change doesn't need to be made" or "Yes, we need to look at this further and make some changes". The latter group of items from that list will be most of what goes into the next big release, be that 06 or 07 if we end up releasing 06 as bug/balance fixes for 05.

Spidey put the list up here so that everyone will know what we're currently looking at, and hopefully get some discussion started about the items on that list. The more input we have, the better we can make that yes/no decision on changes.

I spent a minute scratching my head then realized I had deleted a key sentence I had in there somehow during my numerous edits.

It was something to the affect of "these are things we have on our plate to look at and we may get to only a few of them so please leave a note indicating which ones you are most interested in"

These are just the issues the community has mentioned an interest in and NOT changes we plan to make one way or the other at this time. Hope this clears it up and sorry for the confusion!

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
