As I just said... more hit points don't work cuz it makes it harder to bomb it in general. What you're looking for is dmg rates from dis/galv to be different than from AB/XRM vs. bases.HSharp wrote:QUOTE (HSharp @ Apr 22 2009, 12:18 PM) Make both op and tele galvable but have higher hitpoints so it takes longer.
Things that could use a change

Out expanding IC is fairly easy due to their silly long build times imo
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.
I'd like to see the proposed int changes to be put in before we start looking at specific faction stuff again. It'd suck to have a whole core where IC exp was super bad.

What's wrong with that? I wouldn't mind a heavy op to need 1 ab more to be killed, if it can be galved as well.Mr. Kltplzyxm wrote:QUOTE (Mr. Kltplzyxm @ Apr 22 2009, 09:19 PM) As I just said... more hit points don't work cuz it makes it harder to bomb it in general.

Agreed. Remember that they are expensive and slow to build, so having them be sturdy vs. reg bombing is fine, and a good trade to them being galvable.Sealer wrote:QUOTE (Sealer @ Apr 23 2009, 01:25 AM) What's wrong with that? This would be a great change IMO, as it would mean non-idots could go sup vs. IC.

Well, IC in my opinion is.. hmm... well not really overpowered, it just has too many great perks, like ripping miners, ungalvable bases, no research on ships. The greatest perk is probably ripping miners, in big maps or maps where you can mine 'safe' sectors it's annoying as hell because well, you don't usually push your op 4 -5 sectors, so let's say you plant it average way, pushed it 2-3 sectors, then you have to boost 1 or 2 sectors away to attack a miner, when you get there is ripping, or you get to attack him, but comm just rips it and it's gone, so by the time you do get a base next to their miners, they already have hvy ints or whatever, or even worse, galvs and your light base is now gone again
, ANYWAY I've seen IC lost many times to coordinated miner attacks which is what you need against those ripping miners (or adv tech).
The only stuff I think it's really overpowered is TF late game, specially hvy ints, I mean hvy ints with lead indicator... I even remember watching yiggz with a 44kb once in a tf hvy int. It's hard as hell to finish tf with hvy ints... bomber runs? yea good luck with all those ints spiking your bomber with their lead indicator, fig/bombers? same thing lead indicator improves accuracy for the ones that can't aim really well so unless it's an uneyed drop those figsbbrs will pop like bubbles, I think tac is the only thing good against tf hvy ints, and it's kinda hard to mine against tf hvy ints too
