Allegiance Video

Hey thanks for the comments, I do appreciate them. It seems almost everywhere I go people ask me what a Squirg is. It's an alien race (Squirgs) that I made up in about 7th grade for a Social Studies project, and the name has stuck with me ever since. As for nanning, can't say it's my favorite activity, but I'll try and do it more often. Yeah, the music was a little strange to me too at first, (I always use videos as a chance to expand my musical horizon) but it grew on me so I kept it. Also, there aren't many heavy metal songs that go for 8 minutes that I know of, and I like only having 1 song run through the whole video so make it flow smoother if you know what I mean. Plus I've used some heavy metal in videos before and I try not to get stuck with one genre. Thanks for the piloting tip Cookie Monster, I'll keep that in mind. And yeah, I've been sortof promoting Allegiance to anybody that'll listen to me rave about it, so hopefully there will be more views to Allegiance.

I was actually thinking of re-doing juckto's (with a lowercase j) You Suck at Allegiance tutorials in video format... but I'd need some "actors" of course. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM, Email, or message me on MSN.

Nice video! ^_^ I liked the music a lot, actually, heh. But then, I <3 disco...

The only criticism I'd make is that some of the dogfighting scenes dragged on a tiny bit near the start.

Also I notice you kept trying to shoot when you were out of range >_< When your aiming reticule disappears, that usually means you're out of range, so don't waste ammo! You only have so much of it, and needing to reload at a really bad time in a dogfight can really cost you. Interceptor miniguns are very short-range weapons.

But yesh, anyway, awesome, and thank you for showing this game to the world a bit more.

OMG, we should make a live-action Allegiance series! Like Battlestar Galactica or something! Have Alleg players get together and act out different roles on cardboard sci-fi sets, and then use Allegiance footage for all the space combat scenes...

I only saw about 1/2 of the vid but I like how you cut the video just right before the TF scout was going to pod your int several times.

You shouldn't document your failures.
