if your going TF tac, you have to bomb as well, use your bombers to defend and buy you time while your SF's destroy their econ.

if you cant defend with TF bombers, research PsycHosis, and try again

As DJ said, TF adv. sfs are 1337.

Yes instapodding a bomber with killer1 is much harder.

Shoot the nans and then after the nans are gone shoot the bomber?

Oh, wait... I get it...

The problem with TF tac defending against a bomb run is that even when you do get a bomber out for Defense, the pilot almost always uses the big gun to hit the bomber. If the enemy has more than a couple nans, all they are doing is wasting the energy the gunners need to actually do something productive. If pilots would fire at the nans first (or even better, not at all unless they have a perfect shot), TF wouldn't get owned nearly as often as they do in pickup games.

Thank you for reviving my proposal after a month you forum whore!

Last 2 times I saw TF tac as begining tech base it was like:
-plant tac.
-get bombed
-fall back to exp.

But i think this Thread is irrelevant because TF is at the moment:
BoboTheHobe
EXP
120 mins of whoring
FAIL

Towers (unless there's a great many of them) soloing a bomb run is dependent on the nans following too far behind the bomber / having slow reaction time.
You'd be just as likely to solo a bomb run with a TF bomber big gun, and it wouldn't cost several thousands of credits.

TF towers are what, 1500 each? Bunch of those is enough to buy an exp and get light ints.
Pick up mini2 and you have mini2 light ints, make short work of a bomb run.
