When do you ever see a (0) nan anything, much less a miner? 75% of "vets" never nan miners. That's what gave it away to me at least

But it was good nanning, Juckto, you saved the miner.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

My brother wants to play, but he doesn't have the time. If I link that computer, I won't be able to log in simultaneously to teach him.

You took a ban for the slim chance that Arkofs GF might one day play Alleg?

:\

Wouldn't it just have been easier to just do what BV said, and then in the apparently unlikely event that Arkofs GF would play, you could just tell BV to unlink the accounts.

Also neo it wasn't a year, it was a day.

What you should have said:

12/30/08 15:30:27: +BlackViper@Zone (Ratchet(0)): Hi, you have one minute to tell me your vet nick or suffer one year ban
12/30/08 15:30:40: +BlackViper@Zone (Ratchet(0)): log off and log in so your accounts are linked

People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.

Certainly came across to me like that. I guess it's one of those "eye in the beholder" type situations.

Your brother can learn like 99% of the rest of the Allegiance population.

Step 1: Download Allegiance
Step 2: Log in to the main game
Step 3: "Make me commander!" I played Starcraft and Duke Nukem. You will bowz to my ninja warrior skillz!!! Ratatatatatat!!!!!!
Step 4: Play on newbie server after getting ass handed to you in the main game
Step 5: Finally do Cadet.... well, for some of us Cadet wasn't even around when we learned.

this is what happens when everyone wants a tool to stop cheating, and the admins find a love of power.

BlackVipers reaction was wrong. His stance on the situation was wrong. The ROC about hiders and loging in a new account is wrong..

You have these stupid catch all rules that don't have anything to do with cheating. And you wonder why all the vets leave.

You guys get a little pissed that some (0) wtfpwned you and you abuse your power, create new rules that vets cant create new accounts, cause you would get wtfpwned, and it would hurt your feelings.

I hate it when admins micromanage crap like this. Did it hurt you so bad you had to threaten a year ban? His little game.. not cheating at all was so bad for you guys... oh my.. threaten to ban for a year..

This crap makes me sick.
