Since sgs are always scheduled at 3pm EST, can't you just announce when they are changing their clocks?

I mean, for clarity's sake. I know when my country changes its clocks, and I can adjust when I get up for sg to account for that. The only other thing that affects my attendance time is when America changes.

I assume that other players, in Europe etc, are equally aware of changes in local time and can adjust just as easily as I can. Basically, any announcements other than when America changes just serve to confuse me.

tl;dr: Riddle me this - are Americans changing their clocks this weekend? Cause that's all I give a $#@! about.

Yeah, my clocks went back an hour, did EST?

If no, then I need to be an hour early :(
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

NZ started the waltz a month ago. We've been out on the dance floor by our lonesome ownsome, wondering why everyone else is shy.
I'm sorry, give me a knock next time. And no, US hasn't changed yet.

The thing is, that I know that SGs are at 8pm my time except for when they aren't because the switchovers happen at different times. I find bps post very very helpful, if only to confirm the time for me.

It is scheduled for 3 pm est and from that I calculate the CET. Not knowing that North America does not share the same change date would lead to a one hour mismatch.

pfft. Beats having sgs at 9am on a Monday morning. That kinda renders the whole "decides to turn up" moot.
