We'll I've decided to test this with Adept tonight to see if it really Is me being a 'tard or if it really is underpowered.

OK. Retro booster "works" But it takes a whole tank just to STOP.
And it saves you 6 seconds tops...
What I would like to see is the thrust increased DOUBLED but the fuel usage also doubled. That'll make it useful.

it would be better if it could be used to peek alephs very effectively, i.e, poke your nose in, and *whoosh* your out again

Double thrust, half duration sounds good to me.
