That, and fix the ints. I ain't launching from any sort of op, even regular ones if I can't dogfight noobs and win!

It's honestly been so long since I've seen a giga heavy int I can't vote here. I don't remember how the gunmounts lie.
Plenty of giga games of late, but no exp, and certainly no heavy ints.

It's two on the side, one high I believe.

maybe the problem lies in the concept of a balanced tier 4 int. i am not saying 4 gunmounts for luxuries are fine, but maybe as crono said, perk them up so they work like a tier 4. That way giga basic exp is still balanced but you can get more dough for the same money after you're in late game if you expanded fine.
the 5 sec fuel nerf defeats the purpose of the word 'luxury'. ints don't need a 20 sec rip more than they need to alternatively mount disruptor

I would reconsider perking Lxys if they came with actual luxuries like emailing you free beer and cigars or something equally ridiculous. Meanwhile, perk!

There's a bug in the allegiance code that makes an op upgrade impossible to add correctly.
I don't think giga heavy ints are bad because of their gunmount, I think they are bad because of their model.

Ummm, are you saying the hitbox? Because the model has absolutely nothing to do with gameplay other than visuals.
Ok, so if there's a bug, we could still allow them to purchase reg ops, not as a replacement, like GT can buy regular ops and really heavy ops (palisade).

I think the lt ops are fine. It's the fact that giga hvy ints have poor combat capability compared to other factions and this is directly because of their gunmounts. It's not a groundbreaking game change, you're just making them more fun/easier to fly for the average player who hasn't clocked >1000 hours of game play since the last leaderboard reset (Or 3+ years of consistent play)

AFAIK, the giga model match its hitboxes.
Op:
You are right that it would work if giga could build both normal and light ops, without any sort of upgrades from light to normal. But an upgrade that would change all light ops into normal ops could be abused. A devel that would just unlock normal outposts for giga would also work.
As for what I think of light ops: They are the best and a bit overpowered in smaller games, they are almost a complete waste of money in larger ones... On average, they are ok.

considering the price, you can spam the everloving HELL out of giga lt ops, regardless of your enemy killing them
