so what if there are more newbs? just means easier kills.
more players more servers, i never seen a 200 person match, heck i havent seen 100 players in 1 server at a time. this game surprisingly has alot of potential. why let it die? the same idk 100 players on that played this game arent gonna be around forever?
and to the ppl that think noobs suck? u were a noob probally longer than any1 else and newb means u never played the game look at my join date.. i played this game over 6 months ago uninstalled it cause i had to much work to do.
and about the Y in the post. i was tired XD
if u dont like me. i dont care. weather u like me or not i'm here to stay just to make u mad XD
this game is fun and COULD be the best free space game out there with more players and more options.
r
But to say it has *potential* is to imply that it "could* be a great game. I believe that it is already a great game. Yes, the majority come by word of mouth, although I googled something like *flight sims* and found it. The point is that an influx of new players does not mean that they will take the game seriously. They will get their cookies by discovering the voice chats, and then get overwhelmed by the fact that there is more than just *point and shoot* going on here. I have been developing a belief that there are those i just mentioned, but then the learning curve separates them from those who at some point make a decision to commit to the game. Commit means, join cadet, and accept that they arent gonna just naturally be good at this game, and then focus on learning.
I love alleg, because I can't "beat the game". Most games I have ever played take me somewhere between a week to a couple months before I beat it. Then it winds up on the shelf, and I begin to work on beating the next game. Allegiance has provided me, and countless others with more than that.
I don't think that it's necessarily the game that you are running into a problem with, but the fact that you feel insulted when booted because it implies that you aren't just naturally good AND the fact that you run into problems with people.
More options???? WTF? If you will notice, with the exception of ingame "trends", very few games in alleg go the same way twice. Otherwise, I would have left a long time ago.
I can, however appreciate the fact that you are saying that you are sticking around just to make others mad, and prove to them that you are here to stay. I found that as a source of motivation for a period of time myself. And it was the result of being mad about being booted, and wanting to prove to a certain individual whose name I wont mention, (even though I will say he has eight legs and a knack for witty sarcasm), that I could and would learn this game.
Last but not least-I am very newb friendly, and even for the most part noob friendly....as long as they aren't obnoxious. And even then I try to help them through their obnoxiousness, but some are hopeless. Alleg wasn't made to be 200 players. It also wasn't made for those who want to be *stars* or heroes. Much of what I have said in this post has been said to me at some point, so I am only relaying info to help, but some of it only comes from growing in alleg. You will either stay, or go. No in betweens. I hope you stay, but there will be others, with the same protests if you go.
ALLEG IS THE GREATEST SPACE GAME! But it's not free. It costs time, dedication, tolerance, and willingness to commit to the learning curve. You also have to be able to admit that you don't know it all in this community. That's usually what ends up ruling many out. s far as the replies that you are getting from you posts, you come across as insulting towards something that we love here in our community. Allegiance.
Peace. Live long, and prosper.
PS-this post is based on my personal opinion. Fell free to disagree, just don't expect that to change my opinion. Time will evolve it, I'm sure.
