Allegiance greatly favor offense over defense. You usually get podded more if you go on the offensive than if you defend(like in real life, but getting podded on defense hurts much more than getting podded on offense.

Attacking while defending can also be quite successful. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I want to be killing miners all game long. Unless you are bios then defence will win it for you, also stop spamming.

There is a time and place for everything.

You just have to know when to do which.

for the most part, its designed around attack 90% defense 10%, unless your BIOS, then you can shift the defense part as much as needed till tp2/xrm. (1 sector strategy is annoying)

Just heed the wisdom of Sun Tzu:

You can be sure of succeeding in your attacks
if you only attack places which are undefended. You can
ensure the safety of your defense if you only hold
positions that cannot be attacked.

Hence that general is skillful in attack whose
opponent does not know what to defend; and he is skillful
in defense whose opponent does not know what to attack.

Honestly I think he's talking about probing and deprobing but I'm not sure. :hmm:

I play and command Rix excessively, and as you might find out SR scouts and Figs are bred for attack. Patties fulfill the same role with Giga, but they have prox, making them good for anything (which in this game is a toss up between miner killing and bomber defending).

Also, offence is the way to go for any faction. As BIOS GS are still broken, there is no reason why you shouldn't be over the enemy's miners with nanned GS. I've played and seen so many games where a good GS team will plow through sectors full of enemies and destroy their economy at about the fifteen minute mark.

Finally, this thread making is getting tiring and I'm going to have to agree with MW and IB here.

Sometimes it revolves around a little of both. I chose 50%/50%.

Err... this time, if I'm wrong, just correct me please. kthxbai /glare.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":glare:" border="0" alt="glare.gif" />
