Evin, I do hope the logs come in....

Prime Time??? This server is played all over the world. If you are refering to EST (which I am close to) it would have been 11:00 am in the morning on a Wednesday. That is not primetime. Find something else to complain about.

if you suck, command at different times, listen to advice. don't go at $#@!ing primetime and forgo advice, make a fool out of yourself, gain a stack (by your stupidity and nobody else's), and get to the situation where a newbie can change the tide of your game. because if you reach that point, you definitely suck. which proves you shouldn't be commanding that time anyway

QUOTE You don't get to decide who gets to play and who doesn't. I don't care if they have a !@#$&% (-3) tag, let them play... so long as they follow the rules.[/quote]

All that needs to be said.

actually it was more like 2pm. Get your time zones right

And if need be, i can drag the logs out. But the way Evin put it there is how it went down. You just sucked the big one this time. Stop trying to play it off, and instead take responsibility like a real person would.

do you want me to post the logs of what advice i gave to you and you refused, which made you lose the game? i'm not sure what logs you want me to put otherwise, since you booted me at that time of drama

Everyone is missing the point. The new guy was NOT PREVENTED FROM PLAYING nor was that the intention. He was accepted on the winning team(he could have come to mine if we didn't shoot up so fast with joiners and I had hit F6 a bit sooner). As soon as guitarism joined, I tried to accept him but the other team was then down one, then the (4) went to the other team. (hence the need for a warning for the noob)

If you are reading this post, try to look past the flames and see the issue here.

I will continue to command, accept valuable noobs, and try the best I can, 106 commands and counting.

Enough said, I have filed with BV myself. Hopefully the logs will follow.

Edit:

Bad com, sometimes, noob hater, I don't think so:

Your missing the point. The noob has to sit and ask for a good amount of time, when you could have EASILY taken him. At least 5 minutes worth. But instead, you sit here and try and tell us that him getting on the winning team was better for him. No. Doesn't fly. He was asking and asking, and we were yelling at you, and you flat out refused to do it by your actions. Unacceptable. Completely.

You take the noobs, or you don't com. Simple.

you did prevent this guy (and the rest of people who wanted to join americano to whore on your mistakes) of joining for about 10 minutes when you were down 2 players.

Yes, he got 2 less players because he booted me and nobody but the newbie wanted to join him. then guitar sacrificed himself to the stack gods so the noobie could play

If I'm down players, HELO, and am loosing, I will not accept a newbie, but I will also explain to them why I will not accept them and that I will gladly accept them once the game is over. I have yet to have someone complain about me not accepting them to a game that would not be fun for them.

If I have no time to explain, then the easiest way is to accept them.

So I came late on this drama, but here's my take:

* Priv booted evin for trying to mutiny and failing at spelling. Evin is sore at being booted. That discussion is completely separate from the question of accepting the noob.
* Part of the problem is apparently priv was called AFK at some point. Which is another issue all together; you should have said something or handed off comm, priv.
* I'm rather impressed that you didn't name names, Guitarism. Respect +1.
* However at the time you needed to give a little more concession to the fact that he was running a game that was in its late stages. About the time you joined and were yelling at him on team chat we'd just had an uneyed run on our exp and lost it, and were trying to save our last miner.
* Do not underestimate how devastating it can be to accept one newb too many as an underdog comm, especially in a small game.
* Hey priv, how about ACS?

i have only come forward with the booting because that's the reason eh was stacked against on the first place. had he followed my advice, i wouldn't have had to propose a mutiny, therefore i wouldn't have misspelled it, which in conclusion leads to one more player on his team (therefore avoiding all the drama).
