Pook didn't like it when I renamed my callsign to l_________________l

He banned that callsign ( /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sad:" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> ) and he had to do some things to get aem working again because I had renamed that account.

I want to know who has the callsign Sharp so I can beathem up and murder them, steal thier account to reclaim my rightful callsign politly ask for mah callsign back.

Indeed, I take it that we can't delete callsigns/hiders either? No problem with the limit of 3, but would like to change my alternate callsign whilst still sleaving room for the possibility of a squad tag this century...

No, callsigns can't be deleted by you. Occasionally they are reset at the admin level, though.

Someone's callsign (the string of characters itself) shouldn't be linked to their identity - that's what the IP/harddrive serial/whatever else ASGS uses to identify someone is for. ASGS should not be in place to prevent people from using different names, it should be in place to prevent individuals who are banned from playing and to disallow people from modifying gameplay changing files.
