It seemed like a perfectly reasonable response to me, I dont have much experience with the use of joysticks, and the only experience I have had with them has been relatively poor, namely the use of them as players try to turret gun for me not being able to get a solid line on the enemy.

I also have no idea who this person is, or the magazine in question. I am also quite aware of the join date, and this is one of the reasons why I asked who the person was because they seemed to be a person of some repute.

It was not intended to be perceived as a negative comment, and you seem to have made an error in judgment. But then, that is the fatal flaw of typing, isnt it.

Edit: I would like to apologize if I have insulted any of you with my brief response, it was definitely my fault for not elaborating, and now in hindsight it is apparently obvious to me that it would look like a quip at the OP.

Two people who I know fly exclusively with sticks:

You do not qualify as better than either. Neither do a lot of mousers (me included). So don't say "Alleg is a mouse game". It's a space sim that can be played with either mouse or stick depending on the player's preferences.

As I said, I was not aware that there were people such as those that use joysticks well, and my previous experience with joystick users has always been negative. I have already conceded, and you need not rub it in my face any longer.

afaik weed uses a joystick. you will hear some crazy response if that is not the case...
