Limit the total number of posts a user can make. I'd suggest that once a user hits 5256 or so total posts they have to find a new forum.

Actually I just had a brainwave, sell posts in blocks of 50 at a dollar a time. At least we could point that our spam was contributing to the greater good then.

As far as post limits go - I've always hated them on any forum I've ever visited. I *HATE* the idea of some computer telling me when I can or can't post.
I reallllly would rather not enable this on our forums.

I mean - I could probably set it up so that the ZLs/I don't get those restrictions but everyone else did...but I mean... I still hate that restriction, why would I subject the community to it? If there are more incidents, I'll have no choice but to turn it on. But if I have a choice, I'd rather not subject the entire community to a restriction that I personally really hate. I wouldn't want to be restricted by it, so I don't feel right restricting you guys with it either.

Thank you. I often have multiple threads often and reply to them one by one. Having to wait 2 minutes just to press the reply button again would suck.

What about setting the posts, that are required to vote in a poll to 10. That would at least stop me spamming the boards for now.
