I wish the world would be a little more accepting to those of us who chose to be a little politically uncorrect.

If you knew Vegeta (well at least his posts) you'd know it was not meant to be offensive in the least, or even intended to skirt being a "little politically uncorrect". But he's already posted to that effect with several follow-up posts by others in his support.

It would be a bit different had he promoted the event using the initials heavily or named the server game with it or team name, etc. But even then it would not have been intended to offend but I could see it unintentionally offended people in that setting.

All that said we do try and be a pretty open community here.

I never said I found it offensive. So I guess there's no problem with the people who reacted by saying it's not offensive, only for children it's offensive, throwing counter arguments to justify a thread title that indeed isn't meant to offend but actually does. That type of reaction is usually coerced by someone pointing out the obvious and met with denial even though it's true.

Look Veggy, I don't know you (out of the game, inside the game I try to stay away from you because you always kill me...always...) but I'm sure you're a good person. I'm not saying I'm offended by the title of the thread, I'm just saying be a bit more open minded to the people that DO come to this board. I'm black myself, I was raised in the outskirts of Atlanta and I have horrific memories of the KKK. Try to understand Veggy, I'm not calling you a racist (but you slept with 2 black strippers? Shame on you, you might get the gonorrherpaids). I'm just calling a spade a spade and saying that this title could be offensive to some. I didn't dive deeper in to it, I just threw out the comment. This is a fairly open community, so I don't expect the thread to be taken down but I did want to just state my quick opinion WITHOUT the backlash I was so respectively handed.

To all who took (and will take) my message the wrong way by meeting me with a plethora of choice words, mainly being noob, I really don't care. I simply came in here to make a quick observation and because I was met with the negative reaction (so it seems) I had to just add an addendum to that statement. But any reaction that's negatively generated, just don't be surprised if I seem so nonchalant about it.

It is not my responsibility to make sure that you are never offended by what I say.

But notwithstanding that principle, nothing veggie said had anything to do with race even a little bit. If you are offended, you are acting silly. It's kind of like this - Shadowmoose... hmm... I am offended by that name, since it seems like it is comparing a dark-skinned person to a moose. You should change that call sign. And neotoxin.. wow, you're nick is a reference to a substance that kills people... you should change that call sign, too, because I'm offended by it.

I never stated I was offended by it. I don't know what this rant is all about, and I never asked you of your responsibilities.

So why are you so friggin angry? I didn't say anything to anyone, didn't call anyone any name, didn't make any allegations. All I did was simply point out that someone seeing KKK could take it the completely WRONG way than what Veggie had in mind (and yes, I do know that it was Kombat Klasses, but the use of K's had me thinking Veg were part of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity since they're notorious for their use of K's, but I doubted it).

I just don't see what the big deal is with me simply popping in a thread to say "Hey, someone might get mad at this. I'd watch out." But then people DID get mad, just at ME for saying it. Boggles the mind.

SIDENOTE: What is wrong with my avy?! It's the friggin Ultimate Warrior! Ultimate! Meaning not one to be messed with!
