I get a nervous knee jiggle.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

There was this closely fought SG where my hands were shaking, nervous knee jiggle, heart pounding, my head was like 30cm from the monitor as the final missile went into their exp and winning us the game. I believe it was Deschain's first SG. Me and him were the only nans on the bombrun we snuck onto their exp while the rest of the team kept them occupied elsewhere.

Oh, and I couldn't sleep that night till 6AM.

I get into the HATE. The HATE is place where I no longer care about winning or losing, just reducing as many enemies to pods as i can. there is no care about strategy in the HATE, there is no care about KB in the HATE. there is only me, podding you.

When you're nanning the bomber, you realise or the other nans are dead, the remaining defenders ignore you, and you know that each and every last blue doughnut has to hit the bomber, and you manage it just long enough to hear the base blow up. Awesome!

I remember once that happened with the last but one tech base (tac), their ENTIRE TEAM was podded, so we marched on to the last base and blew that up too - one or two ships luanched to d but the gunners saw to them. It was funny blowing up the last tech base with an eyed bomb run with 1 nan on a 20v20 game /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I get the best rush when participating in a successful and properly organised galv run. They're just so rare...

Basically, the rush is what this game is all about.

So I have to ask are the squad game pretty much always organized in their runs? I can only hope but I know nothing of the squads. I've been reluctant to try and join one because of this. Can some of you tell me about squad play? (rep your squad!)

yes, a great run is a rush. Need.. more.. rush..

Squad Games = Filet Mignon

There is no comparison.

BV gets the rush when he makes it to an enemy base with enough abs.
