i mean even the useful ones like "Read the Chat" would be spammed still, so i would have to support what Imanewbie said and create some sort of limiter. Perhaps one that keeps you from using the same one more then 5 times a minute? or perhaps 5 of any per every 30 seconds or something like that

them getting the full chat pack though is if they actually bothered to look for it...as in, don't put it in with the install because they'd be just wanting to play, not to spam voice chats..

As far as Voice Chats go, I would like to implement a lot of changes in R5. It may be possible for me to start working on some changes before that though.

Spamming I think you'll just have to live with for R4 unfortunately. It isn't viable to just not install the chats as a lot of them serve a purpose. A solution that cuts down on spamming or at least settings that allow you to block a lot of it would be better. Since the majority of spam comes from newbs in the lobby it might be appropriate to have an option to filter voice chats from players ranks 0-4 who are in the lobby. Or place a timer on players in the lobby that tracks their voice chats and only allows them to send 2 every minute or so. The filter option is best IMO.

Instead of waiting and building a new quick chat system into R5, I could probably make a small application which would allow you to easily customize which voice chats you have installed. There would be a Base pack containing gameplay related chats and other chats would could hinder communication if they were missing (ex "Who wants to be commander?") Additional packs would be available to include such as "Taunts." Packs not installed you don't see or hear. You would have the option of muting individual chats you don't want to hear so they would only show up on the screen. There would be different styles to pick from so hopefully everyone could find a quick chat list they are comfortable using. And I would have some sort of support for importing chat packs made by others.

tho i will miss vc spamming we need to limit it and get rid of all of the useless one. and add a level require ment for them so the stupid noobs (0)-(4) wont use them
