Smartass responses are funny and embarrass the person in question, hopefully reinforcing the purpose of the post. If we simply answered the question, you would post 10 more threads asking equally simple questions. Hopefully, now you will find the search button and/or spend 10 seconds looking for a solution to your problem.

(I'm in the process of grading, going to be a couple days still, most probably)

Oderus, part of it is a bit of frustration that people cannot put forth some effort to really look for something. Unless the text comes up and slaps them in the face, they assume it is no where to be found. In the case of stuff like @Cadet or the Alleg Academy, efforts have been put forth to make all of this info and contact info readily available to all newbies. The idea is to provide them the tools they need to survive, and make it as easy as is possible for a game of such complexity.
So...to ask where something is when the info is so readily available and everpresent, it can justify...nay.....REQUIRE a response which is rightfully accompanied by a verbal dope slap to help knock sense into people.
We still love you, just tough love. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

100 people look for the info each month. 99 of them find it without any trouble. In general, we don't mind a person that needs some handholding, but if you require extra care, you should at least have the modicum of common sense not to insult the people tending to your special needs. It's not like any of us get paid for helping you.oderus wrote:QUOTE (oderus @ Aug 1 2007, 07:37 PM) If i didnt look i wouldnt have asked . In closing, work on your attitude or get the $#@! out of here.
